Paella & Tapas for Private Gatherings

Give your guests a meal they can gather around, and yourself less work in the kitchen. Ñora caters birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and other private events throughout the Bay Area, from parties at home to larger celebrations at rented venues.

Our food comes from the chefs behind La Marcha Tapas Bar in Berkeley, recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. Choose paella and tapas, or build a fuller event around a Spanish grazing table, cocktails, staffing, bar service and dessert.

At Home or at Your Venue

When there is a suitable cooking area, our chefs can prepare the paella on site while guests enjoy tapas and drinks. The pans, aromas and cooking become part of the party, giving guests something to gather around before dinner.

A traditional catering kitchen is not always necessary. Our portable setup works well at homes, outdoor spaces and many rented venues throughout the Bay Area.

If space or venue requirements make live cooking impractical, we can explore using an available kitchen or bringing the food prepared. Your coordinator will help choose the setup around access, cooking space and service needs.

Spanish Grazing Tables & Tapas

For a larger cocktail hour, our Spanish grazing tables can be built by the foot or take over an entire table, creating a centerpiece for guests to gather around as soon as they arrive.

Each spread is built around a changing selection of artisanal Spanish cheeses, cured meats, olives, membrillo, conservas, breads and other small bites. Add passed tapas such as tortilla española or goat cheese and caramelized onion stuffed piquillo peppers, or make a staffed jamón carving station part of the party.

From there, move into live paella for dinner and finish with churros or a dessert bar.

Choose How Much Help You Need

Keep the party simple with food and chefs, or add servers, bartenders, rentals, setup and cleanup. We can help plan quantities, review tableware and glassware, and coordinate the timing so you are not trying to host and manage dinner at the same time.

We can also help with beer, wine, cava, sangria and cocktail service, along with rentals and other event needs.
